How to Install OpenVPN on Smart TV (Android TV)
You can install OpenVPN on a Smart TV or Android TV Box in two ways:
Preferred Method: If your TV has access to Google Play, you just need to search for "OpenVPN" in the search bar, and it will return the official OpenVPN app for TV.
Install the App from Google Play: If, for some reason, Google Play is not available on your TV (for example, some Chinese models may have their own app store), then try searching for the OpenVPN app for TV there. If you can't find it, you can download the installation file here (Blue button on the right).
You will most likely need a USB flash drive to upload the app into your TV. There may be other ways, but this is the most obvious one. Every Smart TV has a USB port and the ability to load files via a flash drive.
Some TV models are set up to read only media files, usually limited to video, audio, and image files. Such TVs may not see the VPN configuration file on your flash drive.
In this case, you might also need to install a file manager app, such as FX or any other from the list that shows all files on external storage devices inserted into the TV.
To configure the OpenVPN connection on the TV, you will need to upload the VPN configuration file to the app, which is usually sent to you by the Liberator VPN Telegram bot.
